Since my days at Tech, I went on to a career in the IT field. I have worked 24 years now (since 1993) as a network administrator; a career that didn't even exist when we were in high school. The personal computer was brand new in 1981 and no one had yet figured out they could be networked together.
I have an adult son, Mark, who was born in 1988. Today, Mark is married and living in Wisconsin as a computer programmer. I guess the acorn does fall near the tree. Being a parent is a great joy and I greatly enjoyed raising Mark and spending many weekends on soccer fields all over Indiana.
In 2010, I met up with Anna Amato. Anna and I had a summer romance in 1980. Unfortunately, at the time, we were both too shy to tell the other how we felt. Time and destiny brought us back together and we married in 2011. We both feel very blessed to have a 2nd chance with our one true love that got away.
